No tournament in a long time, so let's have a huge as shit one to compensate. SATURDAY NIGHT IN WITH #mahjong.
The game: mahjong

The cast: all of you fucks (gonna try and get an all-star cast - let's make this a big one! I will try and resurrect some old friends, too)
The rules: 4man Hanchan Ari Ari Fast (bottom right of the 4p games)
The system: knockout tournament with a L7447 ultimate showdown of the 4 best players
What you do:
- Clear your timetable for the date and time set (expect it to go on a few hours);
- post your IRC nick and Tenhou name here (no IRC, no play);
- be alive on #mahjong by half an hour after the set time on the day, or you don't get to play;
- pon some shit and try to win.
I'll try and work out some kind of cool prize for whoever wins.
Tournament structure is the same as it was before (see some old threads). Depending on the number of people, the number of rounds and tables will change.
Make sure you turn up. The venue is #mahjong, not some other channel.

Okay, registration is now closed. The entrants are listed below for reference (IRC names in brackets). Regrettably, #33 <:3c will have to play as a reserve player. As is the case, some people won't turn up, so you should be able to play anyway.
Image posted is what you should look at. These are the match ups for round 1. The tournament will be a standard knockout system, and 1st/2nd from every game will advance to the next round until the final. Note which lobby you're in and who you're playing with so you can coordinate on IRC.
Once a round is completed, I will post the match ups for the following one until we get to the final. This is standard procedure. The post will go here and I'll link it on IRC a few times, so keep a look out.
